The HEAR HERE mobile community billboard truck is a vehicle for empowerment and understanding, designed to gather stories, share memories, and encourage neighborhood interaction. With a large digital display screen, a sound system, and an eye-catching analogue display board, the Hear Here truck is available to visit your North Oakland block!
About the Truck & Billboard:
HEAR HERE is the cutest, custom-built EV vintage truck on the streets!
The digital billboard display is a large (50” x 63”) outdoor LED screen that can present high quality videos, graphics, images, and even live upload of images for on-site interactivity!
The sound system will share local music, stories and more!
Usage:
For use in the neighborhoods of North and Northwest Oakland only.
Approval for use of the truck will take up to 48 hours after submission of the below request form.
The community billboard truck will share non-commercial materials only to build trust and encourage community safety and interaction.
Hosting:
Fill out the form on this page to request the HEAR HERE mobile community billboard truck to visit your block.
The truck will drive slowly around your block and surrounding blocks. The truck will stop for interactions every 15-20 minutes or depending on interest.
A team of minimum two (2) people will be with the truck: a driver and community engager to support interaction.
As a host, you’ll let neighbors know that the HEAR HERE truck will be visiting! We’ll provide you with a flyer PDF to share via print and/or email.
After the truck’s outing, we’ll follow up to get your feedback on the experience!
