In partnership with Urban Peace Movement, Town Nights at Hoover Elementary School in the Hoover-Durant neighborhood in Oakland was a heartwarming gathering of neighbors, friends and community groups that provided resources, education and food along with sport activities - something for anyone, and everyone! The HEAR/HERE truck had a great time engaging with the following questions:

What do you need in your community to feel safe?

What resources do you think are most effective in preventing violence?

What change would you like to see from elected officials?
